Dr. James Davis Schneider is the new owner of Brightly Dental, where he's excited to provide comprehensive dental care in a warm, family-oriented environment. He believes every patient deserves personalized attention and care.
Dr. Schneider graduated from dental school in 2018 from LECOM in Bradenton, FL, and offers extensive experience in general dentistry including crowns, bridges, implants, fillings, dentures, extractions, Invisalign, and more.
His passion for dentistry began after losing both front teeth in an injury at age 16. Having spent considerable time as a dental patient himself, Dr. Schneider understands how your smile impacts your confidence and overall well-being. His goal is to make every dental experience as smooth, comfortable, and painless as possible.
Originally from Lake Providence, LA, Dr. Schneider moved to Covington in 2020 with his wife Caroline, whom he's known since fifth grade. They have a young son with another child on the way. When he's not caring for patients, Dr. Schneider enjoys coaching youth soccer and baseball, cooking, and competing in his neighborhood's annual crawfish boil competition.

Dr. Keith Luminais was born in Metairie, Louisiana and grew up on the Northshore in Mandeville. After graduating from Jesuit High School in New Orleans in 1998, he headed to Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree. He then graduated LSU School of Dentistry, and ever since, has dedicated himself to helping people achieve their optimum levels of oral health.
When he's not at the office or continuing his dental education, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors with his wife and 3 children.

When you walk through our doors for the very first time, you’ll be welcomed with open arms by our friendly team. As you enter into our cozy office, you’ll check in and finish up any forms you have left to complete. Then, you’ll head back to one of our operatories where you’ll meet your doctor, who will examine your oral health and take some time to get to know you. You’ll talk to him about any issues you’re experiencing, and discuss your oral health goals. Together, you’ll decide on a treatment plan that fits your needs, budget, and lifestyle.
We believe in keeping up to date with the latest advancements in dental technology at our office. Our CBCT scanner allows us to create 3D images of your teeth, gums, and all of the underlying structures, even nerve pathways. This imaging technique allows us to more accurately diagnose issues and plan treatment for speedier procedures and shorter recovery periods for all of our patients. Combined with extensive training and experience, our technology allows us to place and restore dental implants with ease.
